Time-lapse movie of transplanted midline progenitor targeted rhodamine dextran labelled cells. Wild-type rhodamine dextran labeled cells were transplanted into the midline progenitor region of an unlabeled wild-type host embryo. Time-lapse imaging shows cells in the dorsal midline NMP region contributing to floor plate and notochord. Time-lapse imaging was started at the 12-somite stage and continued for 360 minutes. The left and right movies are from the same timelapse showing either only rhodamine dextran labeled donor cells (left movie), or rhodamine dextran labeled cells (green) in the context of the host embryo (right movie).
