Surface rendered confocal images of ribbons in a posterior lateral line neuromast of a neurog1 mutant. 5 dpf larvae were antibody stained for ribbons (RibeyeB antibody, red) and hair cells (parvalbumin antibody, green). In neurog1 mutants, ribbons are of different sizes and are localized both in the cytoplasm and the base of the HCs.
