Seipin affects relocalization of LD markers upon zygote formation. Zygote formation between seipin mutant cells (fld1Δ) expressing Dga1-3mCherry and CFP or Erg6-mCitrine. Note the large, possibly clustered LDs in both mating partners, a characteristic of seipin mutants. Expression of the LD marker proteins was repressed 2 h prior to imaging acquisition. Single-plane images were recorded at 1 min intervals.
